As I mentioned in my post from last year, 2024 was the year I got to cross one of the biggest things off of my Life Bucket List when I married my best friend in September! It was seriously the best day ever with all of my friends and family and I cannot wait for all of the memories we will create together!

Speaking of memories, our honeymoon was one of the most memorable trips I’ve ever taken, and it allowed me to cross THREE huge things off of the list below. We traveled to Italy in late September/early October, which had been my #1 desired country to visit. What can I say? The scenery, the food, the wine- everything was incredible, and I already can’t wait to go back.

While there, one of the activities we did was a snorkeling adventure around the island of Tavolara! We saw a ton of unique fish including an octopus, and even saw a shipwreck– it was very, very cool! It was for sure one of the biggest highlights of the entire trip.

During our stay in Sorrento we were lucky enough to dine at a Michelin-starred restaurant! We stayed at the Hotel Lorelei Londres and within the hotel is the Lorelei Restaurant. This was unlike any meal I’ve experienced before. I certainly wouldn’t call myself a foodie, but this was some of the best food we ate. It truly was a journey of taste, experiencing the classic flavors of Sorrento and beyond. As you’ll see, my pictures don’t do it justice and regretfully I did not take a picture of what was actually served for each of the SEVEN courses! But nonetheless, an experience I won’t soon forget.
