If you’re not familiar with the New York Times’ game Connections, it’s a pretty simple concept: there are 16 items that belong to four unknown categories. Your goal is to correctly guess the items that belong together. The only real catch is that sometimes a particular item could easily belong to multiple categories but it’s up to you to figure out the correct groupings.
Just kidding, it’s super simple and I’ve put together some custom ones for Boston Week! Let’s start with a warm up:

Wow, I really wish I could embed these. This post looks so lame with just links. Anyways, on to round 2:

That one might be my favorite.
Now for the finale. I’ve reworked this one so many times now I’m not sure what to expect. I started off with four outrageously niche categories so that it was basically impossible. A little too bitter for my taste if I’m being honest so I sprinkled in some easier categories with a pinch of hints to sweeten things up but then it was too simple. I went back and added a dash of items that could belong to multiple groups – ugh – back to too hard again.

At this point I’m legitimately losing my mind.

Hopefully it came out just right. Either way, Happy Boston Week!
Edit: I came back and thought it might be a skosh too hard again so here’s the new and improved version:
